Shipping Policy

Below are frequently asked questions in relation to shipping and outlines the shipping policy at My Herbal Apothecary.

What are your Processing Times?

Typically orders are processed and sent to the nearest Australia Post office the same business day if ordered before 12pm, or the next business day if ordered after 12pm.

All orders are out the door as soon as possible so if we’re heading to town in the afternoon and it’s after 12pm, it is still likely your parcel will be packed and sent out to you that same day. The policy is to get all parcels posted ASAP.

When Will My Order Arrive?

Delivery may generally be a 1-2 day turnaround for metropolitan suburbs, however depending on location, shipping may take between 2-14 days from confirmation of payment.

Please note that during peak periods or as a result of natural disasters, there may be delays to Australia Post processing times.

Western Australians: Please note that orders are being posted from Queensland and they may take up to the full 14 days to reach you. Therefore, I highly recommend that you select Express Post. This will mean your parcel will come by air instead of rail.

How Much Will Shipping Cost?

My Herbal Apothecary offers flat rate shipping anywhere in Australia:

  • Standard Post $11.95
  • Express Post $14.95
  • Complimentary (FREE) shipping for all orders over $85.00

What If I’m Not Home When My Order Arrives?

If you are not home to receive the delivery, your parcel may be left at your front door. If you agree or disagree with this, please leave instructions in the comments section of your order page to advise your delivery requests.

Please note that while instructions can be left on your parcel, My Herbal Apothecary cannot control what the carrier actually does with your parcel.

It is recommended you use the Australia Post app and keep your details and personal preferences for parcel deliveries up to date at all times.

Which Carrier Do You Use?

My Herbal Apothecary exclusively use Australia Post.

Can I Get An Update?

Yes, of course! Shipping updates are sent out automatically by Australia Post at the time your parcel is registered with them. If you have not received a shipping update from Australia Post and wish to chase up your parcel, please contact My Herbal Apothecary for details.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Not right now, but it’s a possibility in the future.

Do You Offer Local Pickup?

Absolutely! Choose “FREE Local Pickup (East Toowoomba ONLY)” at checkout and once your order is packed you’ll receive a text message or email with details for collection.

Pick up location is in East Toowoomba, Queensland. Full address will be given upon order placement for privacy reasons.

Potential Service Interruptions

Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables outside of My Herbal Apothecary’s control. If this is likely to happen an update popup will be posted on this website and on social media to explain to you why and how much longer you may need to wait.

Your products should be in your hot little hands as soon as possible and everything will always be done to ensure this happens.
