Shipping Policy
Below are frequently asked questions in relation to shipping and outlines the shipping policy at My Herbal Apothecary.
What are your Processing Times?
Typically orders are processed and sent to the nearest Australia Post post office the same business day if ordered before 12pm, or the next business day if ordered after 12pm.
All orders are out the door as soon as possible so if I’m heading to town in the afternoon and it’s after 12pm, I will in all likelihood be able to get your parcel packed and out to you then also. I always do my best to get parcels posted ASAP.
When Will My Order Arrive?
Delivery may generally be a 1-2 day turnaround for metropolitan suburbs, however depending on location, shipping may take between 2-14 days from confirmation of payment.
Please note that during peak periods or as a result of natural disasters, there may be delays to Australia Post processing times.
Western Australian’s please note that orders are being posted from Queensland and they may take up to the full 14 days to reach you. Therefore, I highly recommend that you select Express Post. This will mean your parcel will come by air instead of rail.
How Much Will Shipping Cost?
My Herbal Apothecary offers flat rate shipping anywhere in Australia:
- Standard Post $9.95
- Express Post $12.95
- Complimentary (FREE) shipping for all orders over $75.00
What If I’m Not Home When My Order Arrives?
If you are not home to receive the delivery, your parcel may be left at your front door. If you agree or disagree with this, please leave instructions in the comments section of your order page to advise us on your delivery requests.
Please note, that while we can leave instructions on your parcel, we cannot control what the carrier actually does with your parcel.
I recommend you use the Australia Post app and keep your details and personal preferences for parcel deliveries up to date at all times.
Which Carrier Do You Use?
We exclusively use Australia Post.
Can I Get An Update?
Yes, of course! Our shipping updates are sent out automatically by Australia Post at the time I register the parcel with them. If you have not received a shipping update from Australia Post and wish to chase up your parcel, please contact me here and I’ll send you your tracking details.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Not right now, but it’s a possibility in the future.
Do You Offer Local Pickup?
Yes, we do! Please contact us here and we’ll give you a shipping discount code to use at checkout and arrange a suitable pickup time with you.
Pick up location is in East Toowoomba, Queensland.
Potential Service Interruptions
Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables outside of our control. If this is likely to happen I will post an update on this page and on social media to explain to you why and how much longer you may need to wait.
I want your products in your hot little hands as soon as possible and I will always do everything I can to ensure this happens.
